    An odd phenomenon with water....

Would somebody be able to explain this puzzling phenomenon???.....

I have 2 bottles of regular mineral water in my fridge, both contain 2litres and are sealed.

Both bottles will remain a liquid (not freeze) if they are left in the fridge untouched for an indefinite period of time.

I remove bottle A from the fridge and give it a little shake....

1 Hour Later: Both bottles are still liquid

2 Hours Later: Bottle A shows signs of ice crystallisation, B is liquid

4 Hours Later: Bottle A is probably 25% ice and B is still liquid

24 Hours Later: Bottle A is >80% ice and B is still liquid

    ????????????

What the hell is going on, it's really baffling me!! Both bottles are in the same place in the fridge.

Some expamples of it. Something about the agitating of the water helps align the molecules to produce a solid state. Definitely not an expert in this...just a theory

maybe there is a mineral in the water that when you shake it, it instigates crystallization just as when we cool products lab
