    I Am Legend

Ok this may be a week late but I just got to see the movie and holy shit. That was the first movie I'd ever seen where I would go back and see it again the next day. I thought it was great. Had me on the edge of my seat and I was sweating. It was too short though.

Saw it on Friday. I would give it a 6.5/10.

Thought it was good and would see it again maybe in a year on DVD. Thought the idea of the movie was great and some of the scenes were awesome as hell. But overall just nothing too spectacular in my books.

I have to agree here and I did enjoy the ending to some extent as in when he sacrifices himself but afterwards they continue the story to a very weak ending...could have been a much stronger movie if the ending was adjusted...

Havent seen the movie yet but in the book he also dies in the end. But then again, the book takes place in los angeles (not manhattan) during the 70's i believe, the main character is is a scruffy white guy and he fights vampires, not genetic mutations.

Yeah the ending was weak but I'm pretty sure this was a remake of the 70's flick "***** Man" with Charleton Heston so they really had to follow suit. I love armageddon type movies and this one blew me away.

It was nothing but another weak ass Hollywood remake. The story line was shit and the movie was to short.

    5/10

6/10 for having the hot Brazilian chick.

Remember there's not a lot of autonomy on a "VIRTUAL REMAKE" meaning only the title and upgrades are different...and this book/movie preceded those mentioned by decades.

I thought I was the only one that recognized this as a remake of "***** Man". I remember seeing it as a kid and it scared the crap out of me.
I can't believe alot of you guys didn't like the movie. It's like food though. Just cause I like something doesn't mean everyone has to. I tend to like the movies that get shitty reviews though.

Agreed...they broke the cardinal rule of movie-going!

At least now you know to stay out movie threads here before seeing them. Some guys just can't keep cool.

Bingo !! I just realised the movie you are referring to as its asterisked out in your comment, cant remember the name but Charlton Heston was the lead actor. The zombies were still human and could talk but were totally averse to any kind of light, I even remember the lead zombies name, it was Mathias !!!
