I need an intervention for my chocolate addiction
Every time I get craving I can usually keep it at bay until Sundays which is my one day a week to loosen up a bit.I'll have a couple reesee cups which usually turns into the pilliaging of whatever chocolates, cookies etc are in site and none are so I go out an buy a whole bag of them or go to my brothers house and raid his cabinets, and I don't want to keep this shit up I'm hurting my family and my friends just messing but seriously how do you guys stop the nonsensical eating?

I do exactly the same thing. The other day in 5 min. between my clients I ate two bags of m&m's and 1 snickers. Last week I ate a whole bag of chips ahoy cookies in a day. It's bad. Good thing I look in shape. The only time I do well is when I am totally clean from sweets. That may be what you have to do too.

dark chocolate has antioxidants but is by no means good for u, it does however have a low GI like oatmeal so it wont send ur blood sugar spiking and may have other benefits. also i just found this about it. Recent studies have shown dark chocolate and cocoa may be good for your heart. In short-term clinical trials, dark chocolate has reduced blood pressure, improved blood flow, showed mild anti-clotting effects and may help prevent plaque formation in arteries. Read about the research on chocolate and your heart.

I vaguely recall hearing that zinc deficiency could create a craving for chocolate.
Maybe you can find other info here:
