My brother in law lives in Vancouver Canada, he told me about a 1993 Nissan Skyline for sale @ Vancouver for less than $9,000. 100% Legal @ Vancouver. If I buy this car, How can I bring it to the US or Make it Legal here in the States.....I can drive it from Vancouver to my house but the legal stuff I don't get it....

any suggestions? Need some help bruthas....

no way no how. NHTSA rescended the authorizaion that allowed certain models Sky;ines to come into the country legally IF properly modified to meet the standard setup and claimed as proprietary info by the now defunct MotoRex out of Gardena CA.. ask me how I know.

for reference, read a little background on the only guy who could, for a time, import and legalize GTR's for US streets.

    see Hiro's Fraud investigation at:

then feel free to ask all your questions there as that is where we USGTR owners hang out.. there and AutomotiveForums.com Since site owner Igor Sushko is the first person to EVER campaign a GTR in any US racing series...

GTR's still hold their own against most of today's cars.. even when compare to cars 10+ years old. the new GTR just ran a 7:37 in wet conditions around "the 'Ring".. beat 997 turbo by almost 30 seconds fo ralmost half the money... what else can offer that much performance for so little (comapratively) money? and the new GTR is for sale in US as of later this year.

Yes i know that, i wasnt suggesting the Evo would beat it.
The test was to compare what was considered as a top rally car of the 80's against a standard road going Evo of today.
I woudl still go with an Evo over a GTR

why would you choose Evo over GTR? hypothetically speaking, of course.. assuming you're in USA.
