blahhhh sushi is repulsive.....and i spicy tuna? never had it either, but wouldn't mind trying it as long as i can buy it packaged and eat it at home...i hate oriental food period.....gimme a marinated ribeye, salad, and baked potatoe....

sushi is awesome..love that stuff..i have a shellfish allergy so Im limited to tuna and salmon mostly..definitely one of the healthiest ways to eat out!! I used to hate sushi until I dated this girl who ate it all the time..she got me hooked on it..now I eat it at least twice a week..

i must have ate at a bad sushi place cause i thought it was nothing special and BLAND.

this is what i got
spicy tuna
spicy salmon
another one with snow crab cant remember the name
another one with shrimp cant remember either

the best one i cant remember but it wasnt even really sushi it had shrimp, lettuce, some other stuff and was rolled in tempura and fried, yummy!

i got some pork dumplings that where good too.

everything i got was nothing crazy, avocado, mayo, cucumber, etc.

then i tell people about my experince and they say well did you dip it in the soy and wasabi. i say yeah but that was all i tasted was soy.


any suggestions besides, dont eat there.

bad sushi places will turn you off sushi really fast..try to find a place that people love b/c good sushi is the best!!

thats the thing my buddy gf worked their and he said it was really good (i dont know if i trust him) but i told a few others and said it was good for around here.

i was really pumped bout going cause i love food, i wanted to like it.

I made 5 lbs of turkey chili on Sunday and I am almost done with it.

I ended up eating 8 rolls. Each roll has 8 pieces so I would say it was a lot of food. 4 spicy tuna, 2 smoked salmon and 2 barbecue eel.

I don't like the stuff ..... it is bland and tasteless usually. It is like eating polystyrene!!

after awhile it gets expensive, i know a few good sushi buffets in nj that i visit when i get a craving

they have 30-40 varieties of sushi with 10-12 chefs behind preparing fresh rolls every 5-10 minutes or so

the cost is 18-25 bucks and i hit them pretty hard when im hungry and certainly get my money's worth (nevermind the fact that they have a hot Mongolian grill, hot japanese buffet, assorted cold seafood, etc)

going to a nice sit down sushi place can easily run 40-60 bucks to get a few rolls

Maybe I'll check out the one in Morris Plains. Ever go to Arthur's Tavern there? They have some pretty good steaks. Not too healthy though.
