In a brazen show of courage, Congressman Kucinich took to the House Floor yesterday and called Bush and Cheney the liars that they are.
"The President and Vice President lied and 4,000 of our soldiers died. The President and Vice President lied and a million innocent Iraqis died in a war that'll cost us two trillion dollars while people here in the states are losing their jobs, their health care, their homes, their dignity. Lies are weapons of mass destruction. Lies are also an impeachable offence. Monday, January 28th is the State of the Union. We already know the State of the Union, it's a lie."
Kucinich has vowed to Introduce Articles of Impeachment of Bush on the day of the State of the Union January 28.
They stopped Kucinich from speaking the truth into Congressional record- but now it is time for the American people to match Kucinich in strength and courage and show up in numbers at the State of the Union. It is time the end the era of standing ovations for the liar and traitor in chief. We must show Congress that we have had enough and that if they do not Impeach Bush and Cheney, they will answer to the American people.

Kucinich dropped out of the race too, so sad. He was the Dem's equivalent to Ron Paul. Dr.Paul and Kucinich are actually good friends. MAYBE they will both go Independent and be an Ind Paul/Kucinich ticket, that'd be awesome.

I doubt that "killing thousands of innocents for nothing" is a law, anymore than "making stupid statements without having facts" is a law.(but it should be) So what laws were violated? Did you forget that there were over 40 countries who went into Iraq in the beginning, many of them had the same intel that we had.

Interrogator: Invasion Surprised Saddam
Interrogator: Invasion Surprised Saddamhttp://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/...n3749494.shtml
CBS) Saddam Hussein initially didn't think the U.S. would invade Iraq to destroy weapons of mass destruction, so he kept the fact that he had none a secret to prevent an Iranian invasion he believed could happen. The Iraqi dictator revealed this thinking to George Piro, the FBI agent assigned to interrogate him after his capture.
Piro, in his first television interview, relays this and other revelations to 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley this Sunday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Piro spent almost seven months debriefing Saddam in a plan based on winning his confidence by convincing him that Piro was an important envoy who answered to President Bush. This and being Saddam's sole provider of items like writing materials and toiletries made the toppled Iraqi president open up to Piro, a Lebanese-American and one of the few FBI agents who spoke Arabic.
"He told me he initially miscalculated... President Bush’s intentions. He thought the United States would retaliate with the same type of attack as we did in 1998...a four-day aerial attack," says Piro. "He survived that one and he was willing to accept that type of attack." "He didn't believe the U.S. would invade?" asks Pelley, "No, not initially," answers Piro.
Once the invasion was certain, says Piro, Saddam asked his generals if they could hold the invaders for two weeks. "And at that point, it would go into what he called the secret war," Piro tells Pelley. But Piro isn’t convinced that the insurgency was Saddam's plan. "Well, he would like to take credit for the insurgency," says Piro.
Saddam still wouldn't admit he had no weapons of mass destruction, even when it was obvious there would be military action against him because of the perception he did. Because, says Piro, "For him, it was critical that he was seen as still the strong, defiant Saddam. He thought that [faking having the weapons] would prevent the Iranians from reinvading Iraq," he tells Pelley.
He also intended and had the wherewithal to restart the weapons program. "Saddam] still had the engineers. The folks that he needed to reconstitute his program are still there," says Piro. "He wanted to pursue all of WMD…to reconstitute his entire WMD program." This included chemical, biological and nuclear weapons, Piro says.
Saddam bragged that he changed his routine and security to elude capture. "What he wanted to really illustrate is…how he was able to outsmart us," says Piro. "He told me he changed…the way he traveled. He got rid of his normal vehicles. He got rid of the protective detail that he traveled with, really just to change his signature."
It took nine months to finally capture Saddam, but U.S. calculations on where he might be early on turned out to be accurate. Saddam was at Dora Farms early in the war when the known presidential site was targeted with tons of bombs and many missiles. "He said it in a kind of a bragging fashion that he was there, but that we missed him. He wasn't bothered by the fact that he was there," Piro tells Pelley.

That me be the case but that is not why bush tried to convince the world to go to war with iraq. he bent over backwards to sell the war on the WMD issue. He even sent old Colin Powell to the UN with a bunch of garbage intelligence showing spy photographs of WMD. Ruined Powell career as it was such a joke.
bush lied to the american people and the world...no doubt about it...cause for resignation or impeachment.

The Iraqy war was a smoke screen to take the heat off of Bin Laden ,long time friend of the Bush family. Dont forget everybody, we put Saddam in charge over there, he was an easy target because of his use of chemical war far against the innocent. Why would we get attacked by Bin Laden and all of a sudden go to war with Saddam, pretty much ruining a country.
IMPEACH BUSH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where is this taking place?

1 million Rawandans were killed with machedes. Where is your outcry for us to send 500,000 US soldiers into harms way to help those people?

Thats a damn good questions, one I've asked myself several times.
The notion that we were morally compelled to invade and take out saddam is outrageous. There are many far more f-ed up countries with much more heinous things going on. Our good buddies the Saudi's do horrible things to their people, like this rape victim http://abcnews.go.com/International/...3899920&page=1 omfg. China is communist, but there is no moral imperative to combat them like we did the soviets? Burma? Rawanda? Sudan?
