New movie reviews...
UNTRACEABLE...a decent movie, that hints at being another technological thriller, but actually follows more in the vein of the "Saw" movies i.e., stop the psycho’s torture/killing spree, without the cool little tricycle riding clown. Although some the schemes are unprecedentedly (yes a real word) clever, it’s quite passable for those familiar with the genre. Others might enjoy it.
THE EYE...it's okayyyy if you really like this type of film, e.g. a foreign suspense/horror/thriller adapted from a Japanese legend, i.e. "The Grudge" & "The Ring" but it's at times agonizingly slow. And if you're a big Jessica fan, and she weighs into your decision to see it, don't. Yeah, she's the star but there are no defininitive scenes that prominently display here nubile figure...unless of course you're a fan of her acting.
STRANGE WILDERNESS...went into this one with some reservations, because in all my movie-going days never have a seen a MPPA “R” rating for non-stop language, and it was indeed prevalent along, drug use, crude and sexual humor. That aside it was definitely “stupid funny’, in other words you’ll laugh hard at times, but please recognize the level of immaturity here. If you can’t avail yourself of, or otherwise appreciate it…just pass.
OVER HER DEAD BODY…well as you know I see them all, nuff said? This “Ghost” knock-off with a twist was a funnier version, but without the true heartstring tuggings of Patrick and Demi. But, let me say this as emphatically as possible the co-starring female is stellar. Her name is Lake Bell, she only has a few movie credits thus far, and rather large face, but the elements are hypnotic. Her eyes, lips, hair and facial symmetry (a little big in the nose department) are all great, and her figure is superb. She outshined little Eva in many scenes. Here are some pics…

It's tantamount to looking at Roids avie, then rapidly closing and reopening both eyes twice...heed my warning, if that's why your're going you'll be sad! Again the movie isn't bad just slow and methodical...four years ago, before the ring and others, it would have been very good. Now it's just a Johnny-Come-Lately, kind of the way you felt about "I Am Legend" after its predecessors.
Did you check out the 3 trailers above?Last edited by magic32; 02-07-2008 at 03:14 PM.

88 minutes looks most promising. Pacinos movies are like sex...even the bad ones are pretty good.
