I dropped the 400 bucks on this thing...worth every penny. Battery lasts about 5 hours at 75% volume...which on the beach, can be heard clearly from quite a distance. I highly reccommend it...outdoor parties, the ability to put it anywhere in your home without a plug, fishing, anywhere without power. Just thought I'd share...as I am sure that there are others out there that can't go long without music.
