Had all four out. Knocked me out, but I woke up towards the end of the surgery. They put me back under. I woke up, came to, they tried to help me stand up, and I puked everywhere. I don't remember any of this, it was told to me after. A friend drove me home. I took the next day off from work and gym. Gave me good painkillers, and I was back at it two days later...I was lucky I guess.

you probably won't need to be out of work or out of the gym. but you might be able to swing a day out of work, but i had 4 cut out and i was fine. learn to love gauze.

IMO I would opt NOT to be put under. My neighbor is a dentist and says they are more gentle with you when you are awake. I could def see a dentist being more aggressive when a patient is passed out. You can't say that hurt or slow down and take your time bud!!!Also he knows your watching him, so he might not want to make a mistake!!!! Good luck either way, it is painful, but some people are fine..

my dentist just gave a shot and pulled it out within a minute. it went real quick and was painless. at first it feels a lil awkward cuz the tooth isnt there anymore but u'll be fine. mine bled for like 3 days. i hated that part

I had all 4 taken out about a month ago. The put me under, 1 hour later I woke up and was pretty stupid for about an hour. The next morning I was back in action, didn't miss any gym or work time at all. And I got a free bottle of vicodin.

You can train the same day as long as your not put out, (you really dont need to be). You can train the same day, you just have to keep the gauze in, otherwise you'll suck the clots out and get dry socket...then you'll be in some pain....but still able to lift. And finish your antibiotics...the last thing you want is an infection in your mouth....worst pain I have ever felt.

im 23 and got mine out in october, it sucked man, i got them out on a friday and was minimal lifting on monday, cant lift heavy cause of the stitches. try not to take the pain meds they give you. but complete recovery is about a week i would say. its been 5 months thou and i still have small holes on my lower jaw where the teeth were.

you only feel this way because yours are not impacted...mine used to hurt on and off and just thought they were coming in and would be done
i had one of mine get impacted and the gum line around the tooth swelled up and wrapped over my tooth. i was chewing some food and realized that it was still soft when i bit down after i swallowed. i knew it was time to make an appointment
took out the 1 problem tooth 1 visit and 3 other ones the next visit...bleeding for awhile then back in the gym within 2-3 days
