hahaha that does look tough..
I'd have to prep for it..
but it is only 2 excersizes.. 3 sets of each? didnt count the reps maybe 15??
pushing, triceps shouldes, quads....
than pulling,, lats,, biceps pulldown..
so hitting a different set of muscles..
but still without rest cardio better be good imo

You call these pull ups? LOL
I can do 10 reps total with the right form and tempo and make it 100 times more effective.

no i can do it yet. but it is a Version of functional fitness training. Functional fitness is currently the best type of training for overall fitness training. Not great for bb, but for overall fitness and muscle building outstanding. Same platform the military uses, and prof sports orgs.

looks like a pretty good challenge... was that dude on the end from tht ross training? looks like him.

impressive, but i would have to suggest the pull ups.. they won't be able to do those for long, the release and allowing the tendon to stretch like that they are bound to injure them and that will be the end of that style of training..

everyone always knocks on there pull-ups. its not about form. its about endurance and explosive athletic strength. ive been doing these work outs lately and absolutely love them. but im not into bodybuilding i play semi pro hockey

I am not sure everyone is knocking them, just saying there not pull ups. When you use your whole body like that it kind of ceases to be called a pull up... not to say you get nothing out of doing that, but it just changes it so much it should be called something like kick ups or whatever.

welcome to my summer workouts. I hate treadmills/elipticals etc. I do crossfit during the summer to cut up and it seems better for me.

That's intense, It does look like they are begging for an injury though... and like Spy said, that would be the end of that training routine
i still couldn't hang though, especially now when I haven't done a lick of Cardio for the past 6 months, no sir

front squat into press with 15kg bumper plates. then "kipping pullups." shit's a f***ing joke. crossfit is for old ladies and people who don't have the technique to actually snatch or clean and jerk.

Its a Crossfit workout called "Fran" 95 lbs Thrusters (Front Squat to Press) and Pullups Reps of 21, 15, 9. Yeah I've done it it's all right, I'm actually surprised the lot of you arn't familiar with it. I tried it for a while, but still prefer conventional lifting it has made me incorporate more olympic lifts in my workouts though. It's pretty beastly though. Just not for me though, I like to be in the gym every day doing something. Thos pullups are called "Kipping" Pullups. Don't knock em, they're not doing them to build giant lats. They do them like that so you can do more of them in a quicker amount of time thus getting more of a workout. You can see plenty of videos about the kipping pullups on their website. There is another workout called "Heavy Fran" where the thrusters are 135lbs and I think 35lbs on you for the pullups. Really good Crossfitters are f^cking beasts though you can't really touch em.

I strap 90 pounds to my waist and do 10 pullups with strict form. I take a short rest drop 10 pounds do 10 more. I'll do this six times. I'm not sure what they're doing on the pullup bar? Looks like maybe trying to destroy their bicep tendon? Not impressed at all.
Now this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HxY47YGgzQ impresses me.
