    going out drinking

Well its saturday, just got out from the gym like 30 mins ago...have a rather nice pump and feeling pretty good.
Now its time to have a little fun. The only bad part is I feel like sh!t the next day....I know I won't be able to eat anything and if I do eat it will be something like a 1/4 pounder from mcd's lol. The only good thing is that I look ripped the next day from fasting for an entire day hahaha.
    Who else has this problem?

I quit drinking 6 months ago, feel great! Found this extra moiney in my wallet since too!

I don't see the sense in getting drunk, waste of $, feel like crap the next day, empty calories.

When I go out now, I buy a bottle of beer, dump it out and fill it with water, LOL

This way I dont have to explain 50 times why I don't drink anymore

I used to go out and get drunk allot. Now, I only drink whenever my girl wants to go to the club.
I swear you feel better every day you don't drink, If it's been more than two weeks since I've had a drink I'll feel so good all day.

All alcohol is, is poison.... So if you think about it the longer you dont drink... the longer its been since the last time you engaged in a controlled poisoning...Kind of crazy if you think about it...

No disrespect to the drinkers out there but...I feel sorry for people that go to a pub every Friday or Saturday, or hell Tuesday and get drunk. Having struggled with an addiction I know now that MOST people use alcohol and/or drugs to escape their reality even if they don't know they are doing that. My question is, whats so wrong that you need to alter your mind/thinking? Everyone says "but its fun", I used to say that B.S. too, truth is, I was anxious a lot of the time, and had a hard time approaching people, especially woman. Not to be arrogant, but I'm a good looking guy, but for whatever reason had n self-confidence, but with a buzz man I could do and say whatever I wanted without a 2nd thought. Imagine a lot of peoples drinking and drugging is due to their upbringing. A lot of things can trigger addictive behavior, abuse, neglect, smuthering, not enough hugs LOL, regardless I think if people are serious enough to use AAS, then they should be serious enough to quit the "poison" and atleast figure out why their slowly committing suicide. Keep in mind I am not speaking of the guys/gals that have a beer while watching the game, I am speaking of the knuckle heads who are in bed hungover cuz its Sunday, shoot I got up at 7:30am and went for a run this morning, last year I wouldn't have gotten up till atleast noon.

Nothing wrong with socail drinking, but AAS, bodybuilding, and getting wasted don't mix

I wasted my teenage years getting drunk and high, had a lot of fun with girls, but looking back, I didn't accomplish a damn thing.

    sometimes.

Hmmm, sometimes binge drinking can be worse for you. I don't drink at all, haven't for a long time now. Really, it does not matter what it is, it's all about moderation and common sense.

Im an alcoholic. I dont drink anymore, not for years. When you weigh the pros and cons you begin to realise what an awful drug it is.

Pros - it can be fun for an hour or so
Cons - You act like a twat, you get in fights, you get arrested, you cant drive hell you cant walk too good either, your sick, you pull a hot girl but cant get it up, you crap/piss your pants, its expensive, you sometimes wake up with VERY ugly women or men or worse both at once, you feel ill, its fattening, its high GI, you cant eat the next day, your muscles are getting smaller as your body pillages aminos from muscle to convert to glyco for fuel, your estrogen levels rise, you get fat, you get weak, you cant pull hot girls anymore, you lose your job, it can also kill you out right or over many years.
It makes tren look like jelly babies huh!

ok i have a question that maybe someone else has had to go through.... I'm currently on an AAS cycle and when i go out with my friend i don't want to drink for obvious reasons. however i have always drank and now i get the question "what's bro you not drinking tonight?" now i don't want to say that I'm on AAS so i just throw it up to a strict diet. which work and they haven't bugged me about it. now my question is if i was out and just wanted to blow off some steam and have a few drinks ( 3-4 liquor drinks) how harmful would that be considering I'm on AAS(which btw is test e 500mg/weeks and dbol 30 mg per day).

How bad will it be? Well it won't kill you, prob. won't hurt your body as long as its not all the time, but sounds to me like you're too worried about what your so called "buddies" think, also alcohol is not the way to blow off steam, thats a cop out, I can say it is one cuz I've been there.

1.) If your buddies are raggin ya, buy a beer, pour it out in the bath room, then fill it up w/water

2.) When Im stressed I hit the weights or go for a run, you can't build your body up and have a drinking lifestyle. I know what you're thinking "lifting isn't my whole life, I wanna have fun too" not to be a d1ck, but you should've thought of that b4 u put such strong hormones into ur body.

Commitment my friend, I've given up tougher things than alcohol "sniff sniff"

    And I'm only 23

Like I said, a drink here and there won't hurt ya even if your on orals, its def. not good but it won't do any real damage, unless you're binge drinking and taking like 100mg of dbol .

the biological effects of alcohol are not dependant on your state of mind or 'mental tuffness'

i can go out and get shitty drunk, and not be hung over....my older sister says she can do the same thing...my dad will go out and have a beer or 2 cuz anymore than that and he'll be puking all night? my moms side of the family is known for alcoholics- all coal miners who smoke like trains and drink like fish....i still don't like to drink simply because of the empty calorie, and i just don't enjoy the feeling of it anymore..my first year @ school i didn't work, so i didn't have shit else to do but go to school and get shit faced...i could slam a case in an evening...now i'd rather not even come close to finishing 12....

i also had alcohol for the 1st time in 4 months on Saterday evening, one of my ex-girlfriends B-day so she invited me over to her place. I stopped at an Indian joint got myself some Chicken Korma and a Chicken Malay with a garlic naan bread. When i arrived she already had a glass of Moet & Chandon champagne so i decided to go for it. After a bottle she poured me a glass of Vodka with Cranberry and after about 4 of those she became very playfull. I guess it was like after 12:00pm and i told her i feel like Ice Cream so drove to the nearest quick shop, bought a tub of Ben and Jerry's went back to he place and has we walked in she started kissing me playing with my d*ck and before i knew it we where on her bed f*cking her brains out. I fell asleep at around 04:00am and when i woke up at round 08:00 i felt like absolute shite. I chilled the whole day underneath the Aircon at 16degrees and couldnt eat a thing till round 16:00 after i have showered etc. Last night i shat my intestines out, all runny poo and this morning cut my Test Susp with a shot of Vit B12. I feel much better now.... :-).

First of all the excuse I give is "I'm dieting" period end of story... secondly.... the when it comes to a cycle.... your on exogenous test so its not really going to impact your test levels prolly slightly bring up your estrogen levels what it will do is slightly inhibit your protein synthesis, slow down your metabolism and cause to you store fat.... thats the reason most people dont drink if your on an oral I would strongly suggest against it as it would be a double wammy on the old liver... But if its a special occasion like your girls bday or brothers or something thats a tradition... I would just go ahead unless your dieting for a show... just dont get crazy and dont make it a habit...

steroids is poison too, very addictive, why do you think people can't stop after one cycle, i mean i never done a cycle but i read posts like "i can't wait to inject, can't wait for my next cycle blah blah" i bet most people hate training while off cycle as well, just my opinion

No your missing the fact that drinking alcohol is literally poisoning yourself and you can gain a physical dependence on alcohol.... steroids are in another category am I saying you cant become mentally addicted to them... no but they shouldnt be considered a toxin...

I'm glad you overcame your drinking and other problems. But i cant stand this from "sober" people. Yes alcohol isnt good for you. But it isnt the devil and everyoen who drinks isnt hiding some deeper problems. Also everyoen who drinks doesnt get drunk or ruin their lives.

I like to have a glass of wine while I am making dinner most nights and I have kept that in check pretty well. I am not a big drinker at all but I do know what you mean about feeling like shit and everything else associated with it in the next day.

I'm with you bro. I keep it pretty damn strict with diet and training M-F. Then come the weekend, I usually go out 1 night a week and have some drinks. I can't just sit somewhere and drink though, I like to socialize, dance with girls, etc. Hell, part of the reason I lift is to go out and get girls. Everybody says alcoholism is a disease. I respectfully disagree (just my opinion). I think some people genetically have addictive personalities, thus having a harder time controlling alcohol/steroid /whatever consumption. If you aren't on gear and aren't competing, I see no issues with going out and having some drinks.
