    Farve retires

I hate the Packers but always had a lot of respect for Farves accomplishments on and off the field.

After this season I don't blame him. He's certainly one of the greats, but he's like Clemens, just ruining his name!

I think he means that after this season is a good time because he had a great season. Almost on top.

Yeah he had a great season, but he's also the reason why the Packers lost to the Giants in the NFC game

I agree that is a team loss, but he was forcing so many passes and trying to be the hero of the game, he definitely blew it

Nothing against Favre, awesome QB of the past 2 decades but ****ing eh all I saw today on ESPN was Favre talk. 90% of it was about him and they kept talking about the same thing like 7 times. Sometimes BSPN gets on my nerves.
Oh well thank god for DVR boxes

Bears fan......HATED him as a kid, but grew to respect him....and now i love him...i'd consider buying his jersey when in the past i'd have wanted to burn it....i think of him kind of in the same way i think of Cal Ripken Jr....maybe not the best, but always good, and a f*ckin MAN......he seemed like he always appreciated everything he had.....Brett holds the record for the most consecutive starts i believe right?...and if i'm not mistaken he's nearly DOUBLED the second place guy's run....

If people remember Favre exiting the NFL after his last pass being an interception thats just plain retarded. Maybe think about how good of a season he had or the fact that his last game was in the NFC championship. Love him or hate him, he's a hell of a player and he loves the game.

I'm a Bears fan and I dont ever recall hating him. I hated it when he kicked the Bears ass (which happend a lot) but he's a great QB.

Farve will forever be known as the all time best gun-slinger quarterback in the NFL. That said, he's had a great career and I'm glad he's goin out close to the top.

Tom Brady, who is in his prime, struggled against the Giants defense. Who thought that the undefeated Pats would only score 14 points in the Super Bowl?

    Your football knowledge.
