help me train...legal questions
I just purchased around 40k worth of training equiptment, all cybex/natulaus stuff including
2 smith machines
leg press
hack squat
incline bench
decline bench
adjustable bench
flat bench
cables
dumbells with rack from 25lbs to 150lbs
all mirrors
all flooring
dip bar
preacher bench
all attachments for cables and then some
weight plates 5's 10's 25's 45's
all is brand new and I have a large house and garage, so I am going to set up the studio in my garage first to start training out of, I have a few people i train now and have gotten a lot of people from them who have contacted me intrested in it as well so I presumably have 8 clients lined up now and currently train 3 people. I am going to buy an insurance policy and get a generic kind of fitness waiver for the clients to sign, setting up an LLC for business transactions (which hopefully are cash ) I just want to make sure I am doing everything I need to do, I also thought about getting CPR certified as of now I hold 2 regular PT certs. and a nutrition certification for a certain program. did i forget anything? any suggestions??

are you married? If so, get your wife involved with some clientel... there is a huge market for females that don't want to go to gyms... you might have a little trouble getting them to go to your house for men, but women fill more comfortable with eachother. just an idea...
Get a tv and music with satellite radio and some fans for added cooling.. get pictures of anatomy and training tips hung all over the walls. what kind of cardio equip? need a treadmill, elliptical, bike and jump rope at a minimum.
do you have some pictures of your set up? I can post pics of my layout this eve... but it is only for the wife and me, but maybe you can grab a couple of ideas on layout.

LOL, no I appreciate it really. I am definatly going to get the satelite radio and yes i am married so I always tell prospective female cliients things like "my wife thinks Im crazy blah blah blah" I always talk about my wife, so yes she will be involved on the bookeeping/marketing end of things for sure. I am moving the stuff into the house Sunday with the flooring and the mirrors put together then you bet I will post some pics. Lets see your set-up though bro.
