Since it's a pivotal time, take a few days and decide what you would be happy doing. It's a lot easier getting up for work if you like what you do.

I like banking, but I hate dealing with customers. I am in sales so it’s hard to find a job with my income and not have to deal with people

oh yeah...where the hell is my sensitivity.
that sucks that you lost your job man, but whatever, if you didnt like it maybe this is a positive catalyst. a chance to persue something different you otherwise wouldnt have taken. its easy to get stuck in a rut when its there and available. now, youve got valuable experience to to use if you want to find a job in the same field, or a valuable opportunity to try something else if you're interested in going in a new direction.
it took me some wasted tuition and a slew of jobs to figure out what i wanted to do, but now that ive found it i can definately say it was well worth the search.
good luck brutha.
peace

Is it all about money?
Was reading an editorial by a guy i am friends with called Hywell Teague. Hes one of the main Editor for "Fighters Only".
Anyway people ask him how he got in to MMA and if earns loads etc... his answer is all the same. Its never easy just over night. I gave up the everyday Mc job once and followed my dream, now im teh chief editor for one of the best MMA magazines in the world.
"Is it easy? I work 24/7. It never stops even when im at home resting. Is the money good? its not imprtand because if you find a job you like and enjoy you will never ork another day in your life." The good part is that if hes really good the money will follow in bucket loads. But for him thats not important, he did what he is doing now for years for not even a thank you... now he is reaping the rewards.
Unlike probably everyone on this board has met shook hands and interviewed every major MMA fighter in the world. Check out his Flickr profile. For me its like a dream but for him its a reality... imagine how he feels every day when hes going to work. I wish i had the same feeling.
End of the day, you get a job for the money and one day its not going to be enough.Last edited by Odpierdol_sie!; 03-19-2008 at 08:53 AM.
