Sam’s 3lb bag of chicken for 6 bucks and 5lbs of whey for 26. Milk for 2.50 a gallon so you can get most of your protein for about 150.00 a month.

Maybe you could find a group of older people who do vegetable gardens (not sure if you have allotments in the USA, but here in the uk we have sections of land in estates where people rent a small patch and grow veg) and strike up a deal to take surplus stock off them as a low price.

None of that here in the us. We store our old people in nursing homes where they just sit there until they die.

yeah.....I buy my food at a Sams and it still costs about 150 for 2 weeks almost,
most expensive part of bodybuilding, and just think the bigger you get the more food you are going to eat so your food bill could be $900 a month one day! lol

WTH are you guys complaining about? My grocery bill is at least $2,000 per month (3 kids though), but I send them to their mothers at least 2 times per week, so it still adds up. That's not to mention we go out to eat a few times a month.

F'in food in Seattle is expensive. $2K a month part time food is nothing for three kids. 14% of our income/purchases is spent on taxes. Gas close to $4 per gallon, median home price, 3 bedroom 1,500 sg ft. at $500,000. Close in $750,000. Ball game for 4, cheap seats, with hot dogs and parking, $400. Restaurant bill for 4 in avg restaurant, with tip, around $150. Cell phone taxes alone, $125 per month.

Whey has gotten ridiculously expensive over the last 2 years. I used to pay $70 for a 25 lb bulk bag of isolate. Now it's $181.

Those were the days...those were the days. I like how people in my office see me eat 1-3 chicken breasts a day and they tell me that my diet seems too expensive for them but they'll go out everyday for lunch which costs them $10-$20 each time...I don't get it.

You guys should check out the supplement prices in Europe. You guys seem ridiculous to me complaining about your prices while we are paying easily 50% more over here.
