    Civil Engineers

Is there any civil engineers here???
If so, how is it going with your career, how long did it take for you to graduate & get a decent pay job??

Reason for my question is, I'm getting ready to go back to school & I'm thinking of going for civil engineering but can't make up my mind wat I want to go to school for as I also like buisness?
What would be a good field to get into now a days for a decent pay?

Well I do believe a Bachelors in CE, starting out you get around 40-45.
CE's are the least paid of the engineering group. Of course, if you get a Masters and some years experience you could be making 90. And maybe get some kind of business degree and get a supervisor engineering spot which is an easy 100K

Top Paying engineering fields are electrical, chemical, petroleum, and nuclear.
with a bachelors, starting out, you get about 55-60K.

Also, engineering school is hard as hell. Dont be thinking, "oh 4 years and Ill be making 50K, piece of cake" Its def not something todo for the money, you really need to want to do it, if you want to succeed.. If not, you will lose interest fast and get dropped from the school. It also eats up alot of your time

    maybe this will help:
