    So who is getting a PS3 just for the new Grand Theft Auto 4?

    GTA4 is supposed to be released at the end of next month (April) and i'm thinking of doing it but I might end up getting a PS3 used instead of new. Everyone says it's going to be on Xbox360 too so why not get a 360 anyways since its the better system. Well, i'm also waiting for Metal Gear Solid 4 and that's going to be pretty much PS3 only...

    I think since BluRay won over HD-DVD that a PS3 is definitely a better investment than the Xbox... plus you don't have to pay for online play.

    I bought one with GTA4 in mind but played COD4 on it quite a bit.. Definitely buying a new TV when GTA comes out though!

    I have an xbox3shitty...I'm the only one of like 10 of my friends that hasn't gotten the red rings...yet

    I'll probably get a ps3 for Blu-ray and MGS4. I've played madden 08 + nba live on my friend ps3 and they play better on the xbox hands down.

    haha, i know. everyone always says that, but i play the games and i just find myself bored with them.

    i much prefer a good shooter or some other type of game. gta just doesnt do it for me.

    i wouldn't go as far as saying i've never been a fan, because when they're new and i just start playing, it's like i'm doing new stuff so it's entertaining....but it seems like a couple weeks will go by, and all the objectives start to be the exact same, and i feel like i'm doing the same stuff OVER and OVER.....

    Yeah I agree, but apparently the new GTA is going to be alot more dynamic. They've said that the difference between this GTA and the ones that were on PS2 is going to be like the difference between the PS2 GTAs and the 2D overhead-view ones before those. So I think you can expect a huge change here.
