Creatine and Alcohol
Really random thought.. but will taking creatine decrease the severity of a hangover?
It was my prom on friday and I got pretty plastered, but I lifted that morning and took a protein shake with creatine and I felt fine in the morning.
Since the dehydration causes part of the hangover, was just wondering if the water retaining element of creatine would reduce the hangover.
Just a thought that entered my mind lol : )

Creatine will make it worse. If you are already dehydrated form alcohol then where is the creatine going to pull water from???

If I workout the day of and day after going out I don't get a hangover. I think keeping your body sweating and working out it can process out the alcohol better. Steam room after cardio the morning after going out also helps a lot!

What other supps were you taking? I know if I take a couple of grams of Vit C, and a multi-v, and a bottle of water before bed after a night of drinking then I don't feel "as" bad as I would have.
