    Whitewater kayaking

If you are a meathead do not try this!!! This sport is meant for skinny dudes with long arms. I had an awful expereince. Being top heavy your boat wants to spend all its time upside down with you under water. All my kayaker friends thought it was hilarious.

thats fine! In a big boat with lots of room to move freely. Its just those tiny whitewater kayaks have no stability. They are flat bottom to move on top of the water instead of through it which is important in swift water. But the slightest rock of the boat in any direction you are flipped under water. the trick is to learn how to brace yourself with the paddle. But when you are 255 with 21 in arms its hard to reach out there and grab a good brace.

My first expereince was awful. The water was like 39 degrees, my buddies (who one or both are sponsored by pyranha) said it would be an easy 5 mile class 2-3 creek. the air temp was like 55 degrees and I was stupid for going in the first place since it was so cold. Anyway, we had to seal launch into the creek and my buddy said he would right my boat when we got in. So I drop like 5 feet and flip upside down. I was so shocked by the cold water I pulled off my skirt and swan in 39 degree water. This was just the beginning. Happened over and over. Being so big and so cold I had no control.
Ive been out 2 more times and have since learned to roll. I still have very poor control. I love to watch it and I really want to get good, but everyone else ive talked to says im to big for the sport.

kayaking is one of my personal favs in the summer time. I have a few sea kayaks which i use in the river near by. If you want a stellar back, shoulder, abb and cardio workout, i suggest you look into it! Throw on some shades, and giver..can't wait, ill be bringing them out shortly, thanks for reminding me poster!

I havent tried whitewater kayaking yet, although would love too. Whiitewater rafting is hella fun...greatest time..I suggest everyone to try it once
