Well if you're in NYC, I'd recommend a shop called...Last Rites...its Paul Booth's shop, one of the best when it comes to black and grey and weird evil stuff. I got one there a few years ago when I was on vacation. They have other artists that are top notch. You won't get an appointment with Paul, theres a 2 year wait. But you can check out the other artists there.I highly recommend it. See if Dan Marshall is still there he's awesome when it comes to color pieces. Also a guy named Lorcifer?

Cool! Tattoos and bikes,goes hand in hand. Back in the day the only people with tatts were sailors,bikers and criminals,(SOMETIMES THE SAME).Nowadays its much more socially accepted. But I still get looks of disapproval from some people.Thats when I point out the F.T.W tatt i have and tell them what it means.

Kat Von D use to do work out of that shop and if I am not mistaken she still comes through but obvisouly you would have to schedule that.
If you want a good color piece Dean William does some really good work.

Also the one inside the Palms Hotel/Casino in Vegas seems wayyy overrated too.
I'm going to Vegas for July 4th weekend and was considering getting a tattoo there, for the one reason, we and my wife will be leaving our 16 month old daughter with Grammy. But then again that means no liquor before or during the tattoo process. Plus no sun and pool either, so nahhhhh...
For the JoYZee peeps, anyone ever get a tattoo done in Bayonne?? My girlfriend at the time (now wife) got 2 of hers done there (TATTOO U, I think it was called)...she got a small butterfly on her lower back and another a flower on her pelvis / bikini line...but I wanted something alot bigger on my back and delt.

Its on 3rd or 2nd street between avenue a and b, I wouldn't really go there for tribal,but they are one of the best shops I've been to, and its really cool inside. Last time I went there, there was nothing as far as flash on the wall, its all custom drawn. They are worth the money!

i would just take some time to check out the shops look at all the artist's portfolios. i usualy look for bigger nicer shops they draw more business so they tend to get the better artists imo.
