k so i show up to pick Carlos up and he stands me up, then i grab a bag of mini carrot and head to DSM's and in the rush i forgot my sleeping bag....well i get there and there's Bino, all comfy in DSM's bag...and i dont mean the sleeping type either...so i wwent inside and ate his chicken and brocolli...

My view on this is that if you are gay, okay good for you, no big deal. You deserve the same rights, and treatment in society as any straight person, oh BTW i am also a Christian, and straight.

Christianity went into south America and said, enough human sacrifices and Christianity is here to clean this up...etc of all these 'good' stuff.
on the other it calls for Jesus as the son of god, yet god 'the father' allows HIS son to be sacrificed "died for our sins" for other man kinds.
Pagans believed that when they sacrificed a human of their people is to pay for the others sins as well.
what a change Christianity had offered.

look, the reason we have "parades" is because we have "pride"
african americans have black history month, mexicans have cinco de mayo, the whole free world has 4th of july, what is wrong with us having a celebration?
we arent the ones shoving our beliefs in your face and as "disgusting" as you find it, we find "straight love" equally disgusting
but we dont disturb your weddings or your rallies or shove what we feel down your throat.
and for the "bible thumpers"
going to church doesnt make you a christian anymore than standing in your garage makes you a car
to be a "christian" you must follow "gods word" which says "thou shalt not judge lest ye be judged"

I'm a follower of Christ, and He tells me not to judge. Sex outside of marriage, which is still defined as between man and woman, is a sin, so homosexuals, according to my faith, are sinners. Guess what, so am i and every Christian (sin every day), so how some folks think they are the 'judges' is beyond me, i have my own sins to try and improve upon. Some of these folks that get out on the street and 'protest' against homosexuals, are wackos and need to look inward before they criticize others...

Interesting thread!...I've read the scriptures a little and from what I can tell, Jesus never involved himself in this type of behavior...Nor did the first century Chiristians...They appear to have been peaceful people...

When u read the book of Acts, it's loaded with thier (Genuine Christians) examples...From what I can tell, thier main work was telling people about God's kingdom and what it will and can do for mankind (Beautiful message by the way)...

So then, "what message does that send to others about their own relgion"?..That's for the reader of the Bible to dicern IMHOP...People say that one can read the Bible and obtain different perceptions...Is this so?...Maybe...However, if God is who He says He is, then I humbly believe that He will communicate the "same" unified message to ALL who want to know the truth of it...I don't see Him using cults, sects, and the like to purpose His message...That would make Him reside in a bad light...I can't see God as being unorgainized, unfair, unjust, unloving, merciless, unkind, peacless, and so forth...Also, I see Him as being quiet qualified in handling His affairs...

So, I'm sure He wouldn't be behind radical movements...All thruout the Bible the message presented is in regards to the Kingdom of God...Sure, along the way, we see God's principle's and laws as well...Also, we can view how He (God) dealt with His people in the past...Anyway, again, interesting thread...Peace!

The message of Christ is clear: Love, compassion, forgiveness. It's not the message that's a problem, it's man's perversion of His word to suit their particular needs at the time. Yes, we have alot of folks that call themselves Christians that evidently don't understand what Christ COMMANDS his followers to do.

As to the marriage between gays, i personally don't approve of it, but it's not the Federal Govt's 'problem' to solve, it should be 'controlled' by the state, in the form of a vote by the people, not by a judge somewhere. If the state of Florida residents want to vote 'in' gay marriage, then that's their right, IMHO.
