Remember the show Arrested Development?
Was I the only person in America that actually liked that show? I thought it was hilarious. Seriously, I think the Waynes Bros. show lasted longer than it did! I don't know, did anyone else like it?

I can not believe this show was canceled. Not only was it my favorite show, my whole family loved it as well.
I use to honestly think if I were rich enough, I would have hired all the actors and writers myself to just keep it going; even if I were the only one to watch.
I can not believe some of the crap that continues to plague prime time year after year while excellent and truly funny shows get brushed aside.

After posting I noticed you are from Ohio. I grew up in Ohio and wondered if this has something to do with why we liked the show?
I guess we'll see if anyone else posts from anywhere else about the show.

I feel ya. What I don't get, is that it was nominated for so many awards, there was a huge following (evidently not huge enough though), it was on at a perfect prime time slot, and yet NOBODY WATCHED IT?! Some buddys of mine that have the same sense of humor that I do never even heard of it! What the heck?
I don't know, maybe it was just an Ohio thing.

We loved that show, I think it was over the heads of the general public, but was one of our favorites.

I loved the episode where the mom decided to challenge the mistress to a drinking contest for the ownership of her husbands frozen sperm.
As a waitress was walking by her, she could not even wait for the first round to come, and just grabbed a shot from the waitresses tray and did it.
She then mentioned it did not count as she just needed a drink that second.

I loved when Carl Weathers was on there, "You gonna' throw that chicken bone away? Tell ya what you do.... take that bone home, throw it in a pot, pour some water in there, add some vegetables, and you got yo'self a stew! Now thats good eatin'!" ........ "Let me tell ya a secret, if you save your cup, you can take it up to the front, AND THEY GIVE YOU FREE REFILLS! isnt this place great?!...", (Tobias)"Yes, Burger King is a fine establishment CARL WEATHERS?"
God.... I loved that show....

That show was freakin awesome, my gfriend and I loved it. She actually sent me the first season while I was in Iraq and I think it holds a special place in my heart because anything that can take your mind of the bs over there is well worth it.
Also I can't remember the creator's name ( The married bald guy in the show who was actually gay) but I saw him in an interview and he was just bitching at Fox about how they never promoted the show properly. Which really sucks because it is rare that you find a show with that much intelligent humor mixed with just outright stupid slapstick. It meshed perfectly.
Oh well, we do still have The Office though.

Great show, they replay it on a few different channels now. They're coming out with a movie, too.

It was a pretty funny show. I think it just came out around the wrong time. People were still really into the whole reality thing when that was out. Sitcoms are slowly coming back around now.
