    Desktop alerting solution

Currently in the market for a desktop alerting solution. I have only looked at NetSupport Notify as of now. If anyone has any other vendor's or suggestions I'd be very appreciative.
FYI...I work for a grocery store with around 200 network nodes

I apprecaite the advice, but maybe I should be more clear. Currently in the market for a desktop alerting solution, not an email solution. The purpose of the DAS would be to inform end users of system wide issues as they occur real time. Example would be email server goes down. Instead of getting 100 calls from various users informing me of the issue, I can generate a message and send it to the network nodes. No user interaction required, they just have to read "Email Server Down".
Hopefully that clears it up a bit. Thanks again.
