    Wife's new toy.

My wife has decided she wanted her own bike after 10 years of being a passenger of mine. So we went our and gut her a new 08 Gsxr 600. This is a great starter bike. It has the power mod switch and all so a gear indicator.

She is not doing much for mods this year. But over the winter she would liek to do the exhaust k&n computer Tre and a few other small thing.

Right now the only thing we did was remove the tail and a 2in lowering kit.

That's a mighty nice looking bike!

Something really razor sharp but clean looking about the newest Gsxr's.

Now that you mention that, there's this product on the market called the "Viberider" it get installed in the passenger seat or p-pad, and vibrates to the rpm's of the engine. Before I forget, thats a nice bike, I like the lines.

This thread had the potential to be one of the greatest threads ever posted (if the new toy was a 18 inch black rubber dildo & you're wife was hot)

    Nice bike btw bro.

If it's her first bike I wouldn't say a racing bike like this is a good starter bike even if it's 600 cc's. I would have her start on a 250 just to be safe so nothing bad happens. Anyway that is just my opinion not trying to be a buzz kill lol. Congrats!

    Congrats on the bike.

Call me crazy but i still like the older style of the plastics covering the entire side of the bike.

My wife knows how to ride for the most part. I just have to teach her how to deal with traffic and the street.

250's are not a great bike to learn on. They are two under powered for the street. They also are not that light. This bike is only a few pounds more then a 250 and lighter then a 500. Reason being its a sport bike and there not. Like i said it has a power mod switch that you can reduce the power from 1/3 3/4 then 100%. It also cuts back on how sensitive the tb is.

If something bad is going to happen it can happen on a 50cc or 2000cc bike. The size makes no indifferences when you hit gravel in the road or a car hits you.

Ya I forgot all about the power switch. I've had a 750 and a 600 but this was 3 years ago. On the 750 I crashed once because of the power and sensitive throttle response. And when I took my training course in California the lead instructor "red" pretty known guy in the riding circles in Cali he was bashing on people that get a race bike for their first bike during class and how a 250 is way better choice to learn first. Anyway I'll never forget that for some reason and I was shocked when he said it because I was like what the hell is a 250 gonna do but nowadays these 600's are faster than the 1000's of just a few years back. But anyways the power switch is a smart move by Suzuki.

I have teched the riding course in nj for a few years. I disagree with the guys comment. You should learn on the bike that you will be riding on the street. I also disagree withe renting the 250's to take the riding test to get your dl. If you cant pass on your own bike you should not be riding. I know a lot of the test is bs but on the roads you will encounter much worse.

My girl loves Harley's. If she liked bikes like your wife I would buy her one. I am not fond of noisy harleys and I do not appreciate that look. Its just not my thing.
Anyways, I too was hoping for a great sex toy thread as I was ready to post the great new sex toy I bought my girl!

Is it just me or what is it with these new crazy butt ugly factory pipes these days? I saw the new Ninja and it has similar pipe style to this GSX.

Do the japs have a competion going as to who can build the weirdest pipe and still sell the bike?
