^^it was only a matter of time.
I believe it's just the steering stem that holds the assembly in place

^^nice, I guess I gotta get to banging. The forks that is.
Take Of The Threaded Collar.
Then Remove The Wedge Bolt ( At The Top Of The Steer Tube )
Pull Apart.
**** 1" Threaded
threadless forks don't have a threaded collar, if they did they wouldn't be threadless.
hahaha i wasnt even paying attention.
ok first
remove the compression bolt on top of the steertube(stem)
then loosen the two ( usually ) bolts that hold the stem to the steer tube.
dont bang it off, if the stem is threaded on both sides put a penny or dime in the back of the stem where the gap is thread a bolt in and tighten it down a little and it will force the stem apart.
if it's not try to find something flat and wide ( a screwdriver may work but you prob dont want to mar your stem ) and pry at the gap alittle, as the stem is usually aluminum it's soft and easily conforms and stays tight on the steertube
hope that clears up any confusion , sorry,
you'll prob need some 4 6 and 8mm allen keys on hand, all three bolts may be 6mm
and if you really need to hammer it off use a rubber mallet or a piece of wood on the top of the steer tube, if you flare or fvck up the top of the steer tube you'll have a hell of a time getting the stem on or off, ( which after damage could be filed down or even cut down , steer tubes are usually longer then needed so if theres spacers there your in luck ,if you ****ed it up ) lolol
