I know somebody who will die soon of a muscle wasting disease...

I work at a cafe and we have live music on weekends. I worked last night and talked with a woman who has been showing up with her husband lately. She told me that her husband has muscular dystrophy and aren't expecting him to live for much longer at all. The poor guy looked so sick and miserable as he sat there in his wheelchair wasting away. I wanted to walk up to him and inject him with Deca . Isn't this what these chemicals were originally designed for? Part of me feels like I could save his life by giving him steroids ...or atleast talking with his wife about them? I know that would be far-fetched but still....

It's a nice thought, but that is something that his Doctor would want to decide first, If they don't expect him to live long, then I am assuming that nothing has been working for him.
