Just trying to gather some thoughts on late night cardio....sometimes I can't sleep cause I took a nap during the day or had coffee kind of late! So I go for a jog..some nights it helps other nights I get even more hyper??

**** yeah, i cant sleep, dono if cardio will help or hurt.... A jog at night is nice though especially at 2+am nice and quiet.

It's no where near as effective as morning cardio on an empty stomach.
Cardio in the morning elevates the metabolism for the whole day. If you do it at night, it won't do much because your asleep, and when you sleep, you don't eat, and when your not eating, there's not much to metabolise (i.e. burn).
Sex works I fall asleep straight after.
Arent you the same guy sayin rope pushdowns weren't a good mass building exercise? And now late night cardio won't do much? Geez, just stop trying to give advice. So burning 500 cals in the am, or burning 500cals late night is so different how?
Its not about boosting metabolism, its about burning calories...cals in vs. cals out.
Eat something. If I'm up early in the morning for cardio then work all day by the time I eat my last meal (usually cottage cheese) I'm dead tired. Stop napping and get a decaf coffee.
sex or beating off definitely works, release all those relaxation chemicals in yer brain. Supposedly exercise too soon before bed is bad in terms of those of us who have sleeping issues.
no way, too much exercise at night gets your adrenalin going. personaly i cant ever get to sleep if i play football/go jogging late at night...
