I normally would agree that the government wouldn't and shouldn't have the right but at this point it's affecting everyone. Health care premiums have gone up parallel with the size of the waist line.

Of course its wrong but its funny as hell. Government should have no say i nall of this what kills me is peoples common sense that they think being fat is okay. I just hope they dont bail them out and then all the fat people demand more handouts for care for being fat.

Being fat costs money lets face it. Fat people are always complaining they cant find partners, they are insulted, people think they are ugly, they have low self esteem, more likely to be depressed, more likely to have diabetes, more likely to be strees induced, have bad diets, and in the end it is not healthy to be fat. Then later on in life you get joint problems, heart problems.

I dont get why people do nothing about it and dont try to improve themselves.

But its still funny as hell IMO.

i think its pretty funny, and I laughed initially. But I am not all for more rights getting taken away and violating the constitution. Higher taxes for people with a certain bodyfat percentage is something i might want to see happen. but to be fair, it should be an extreme number. genetics is no excuse.

That's a beyond stupid idea to judge obesity by waist size. So you're telling me that a 36 inch waist is the same on a male that is 6'6" vs. a male that is 5'4"? I think not. I have no clue why anyone would support this idea without height also being factored in.

I cannot speak for the Japanese nor do I give a shit about Japanese law. They can do what they want, the US Gov't on the other hand is purposefully not doing anything about the health crisis we have in America.

They have lobbysists in Washington whop pay them Millions to pass bills in their favor.

Stop and think about it, it is easier to control a sick and weak population than it is to control one who is a an alert and physically strong population.

Fat laden foods are cheap whereas healthy foods are "expensive". Fast food on every corner, no excercise in schools (you need at the least 45m-1hr ED).
