Apparantly this type of landing is a regular phenomena in St. Maartens. Personally I think id shit my pants if I was in that red car.

I've been there twice and thats what happens, it's really scary when you are on the beach watching it fly right over your head.

That shit is scary! I've been on two terrible flights in my life and both times I honestly thought it was the end.
First one I was flying into Bogota, Columbia in a severe thunderstorm. We were about 5 minutes out from the runway when the captain came on and said everyone should tighten up there seat belts and that the landing was going to be bumpy. About 30 seconds later the plane was dropping altitude, people were screaming and crying, the bins were all opening and luggage was flying out and then the damn oxygen masks deployed. Then the stewardesses were screaming. I knew when they started screaming that things were bad, really bad. I had sweat pouring down my face and back. It seriously scared the shit out of me.
Secodn time I was coming into Quito, Ecuador in the middle of the night. The runway in Quito is too short so they have to hit it perfect. The downside is the the runway is in a depression in between the Andes mountains and at the end of the runway it drops off about 150 feet. It's just the worst place to put a runway. On top of all that we were in another damn thunderstorm. The pilot made two attempts at landing, aborting one when we were literally wheels down on the runway. It was pitch black out and I kept thinking we were gonna slam into the mountains. People were seriously paralyzed with fear. We finally got diverted to another airport somewhere in Columbia and flew in the next day.
Short of crashing, I can't imagine being more scared!!
