Police assault bicycle rider: One for the Godfather
This might already be old news, but it's new to me.
The original story commended the cop for acting so decisively against some "jerk" bike rider. The bicyclist, Christopher Long, 29, was charged with blocking traffic, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and assault. It's only when the uTube video came out that anyone even started to believe the bicyclist's story.
P.S. For those of you who think the cop is justified hitting some "liberal pinko environmentalist hippy", the guy he hit is an Iraq war veteran.

Don't forget war vets can still break the law, not saying this guy did because the link doesn't work but just the same.

This one is pretty sickening...The cop wasn't even justified in detaining the guy, let alone using force of any kind.
