Nfl football season
this week is the start of the season and i want to here who everyone thinks will be in the super bowl this year. i plan on saving this thread and bringing it back up in january so we can see who was right and how wrong others were because i gurentee that nobody would of picked the new york giants last year. i live in pittsburgh so of course im a die hard steelers fan(especially because i live down the road from our best DE Aaron Smith. i like the Saints this year. i think drew brees is going to have the best year of his carear now that he has great recivers that are fully developed plus the addition of jeremy shocky helps

Jacksonville/Dallas
But IMO predicting the NFL season is nothing short of insanity, too many factors through the season. If just go by paper you'd think it would be New England/Dallas but as last year prove the field is the only true deciding factor.

Cowboys vs Patriots/Colts
Pittsburgh might be in there somewhere

i wouldnt mind seeing the jets there now that brett favre is there. i will be watching(nfl package) every jets game this year and i'll be rooting for them all because of favre. i wanted to see him go to the vikings were he definatly would of went to the super bowl but hopefully the jets can bring it together this year now that they have some wr's, favre and a good offense line backing him up

The NFL ticket and March Madness is the reason why I switched to Direct TV! It's a good investment if you love football but expect to have friends coming over more often.
I see a lot of people picking Dallas and the Pats. I like that pick but I don't believe in Tony Romo until he gets there at least once. He seems to fold in the big situations.

everyone seems to be leaning towards the obvious and the teams with the odds in vegas, patriots and dallas. if the vikings had a QB i would pick them in a second but there QB isnt good enough to win the big games for them and there awesome defense cant carry all the weight even though baltimore did do just that a few years ago. anyway i have never been a saints fan but this year i really like them and expect them to go all the way. Colsten, Shockey, Bush and Brees are going to have record years and will make it deep into the playoffs.
i like dallas to, especially there defense this year but i dont think romo can win the big games. he did awesome the 1st half of last year then went down hill fast. if romo can keep playing at a high level they definatly have a chance now that they have a great defense but its tough being in a division with washington, the giants and the eagles especially now that the eagles have CB Samual from New England

I would love to see my Raiders go all the way. As long as the Chargers, nor the Patsies aren't going to the big game, I am happy.

I have to agree with STONEGRMI....i believe it will be the vikings/patriots or jags.
Too bad I have to root for the Falcons.....I have no idea why I renewed my season tickets. I actually do think the Falcons will do better than most people give them credit for. I could see a 7-9 season.
At least I have fantasy football to look forward to every week. And for all the football fans out there....if you haven't started playing FFB yet, you need to go ahead and jump on the bandwagon....I know it sounds dorky but it is by far the activity that I look forward to the most every year.

Im gunning for San Fran. They've been my fav team since grade 2. I had a shirt 49ers and my buddy goes hay i like that team. (can't see why) but since grade 2 yah. Their qb has high hopes. Alex Smith. Greatness. I fully support the Kali teams and qbs. San Diego another fav. cause i had a DL poster that my gf brother gave to me.
