people that are good on computers/mp3 files
I am downloading this song off ares. right....its 99.999999999999 percent complete and will not finish the download process. when connected, the download speed is 0.00 things per second.....
only reason I ask is because its an extremely rare song and its "thee" only file available.
SO, I have this song that is 99.999999999999 infinity 9's percent complete that I cant do anything with. Is their anyway to like somehow get this song complete manuelly, like just back out with what you have. because under normal circumstances, you cant do anything with a file unless its 100 percent complete.

If you stop the transmission does the file still exist on your PC with a wierd file extension ? It may well have completed but not close and renamed the file as an mp3 file. If it exists rename it with an mp3 extension and see what happens. The happens a lot with the getright download program

Its a validation glitch.
It depends on what default mp3 player you're using. If your using media player switch your default to VLC player (or d/load if you dont have it)
Than try playing the file or simply redownloading it.
If worst comes to worse shoot me the file/source and I'll decode it.

I get that now and again with torrents, in that case i stop the download wait a minute and then resume the download and that generally fixes it. Worst case is i manually hash it to finish.Give it a try.
Also whats the song?

For songs use soulseek. If its not on Soulseek its anywhere.
Other than that with soulseek you can listen to any incomplete file no matter what the % is with your default player.

If your using a p2p program and you are only 99% then your screwed. All you can do is keep your program open (connected) and wait for one of them 3 people (seeds) to sign back onto the server to finish your download.

I'm curious how hard it really is to get.
Try vuze with piratebay, or just search vuze directly.

Yeh vuze is free.
I basically got sick of all the limewire, bearshare p2p clients and now use all torrents.
Because rather than download a song at a time, I can download 10,000 in one file and its quicker. I ALSO love the fact on piratebay people will comment if theres a virus in the file and its much cleaner than blind downloading on something like limewire.
Plus some of the software on vuze is incredible. Photoshop, avi to dvd converters, it just has everything in the world. EVEN antivirus software that actually works and doesn't install virus's on your computer lol
