    Best secure encrypted email server

    What would be the best secured encrypted email server to use these days?
    Any of them safe? Which ones do you guys trust and use?

    Using self signed PGP keys on a self-hosted account.

    Both you and who you are sending to would need to setup and use keys. But this would be the best method as you would controll it.

    A good free way is to use and setup HORDE, which is written in PHP and is available on over 90% of webhost's.

    Remember all of this technology was developed by NSA / D.A.R.P.A. contracts (you can find this out by searching Google, or paying and using the F.O.I.A. and getting all the public documents on the development and contracts on this). This means as secure as it is, it can be un-secure in the push of a button.
