Anti-Depressants causing water retention
I searched the forum and couldn't find anything about this issue, which is why I'm creating this thread...
I've taken many different types of anti-depressants and over the counter serotonin boosters (trytophan, 5HTP, St Johns Wort) and they help with my anxiety and depression. Prozac is my favorite. However, they ALL give me noticeably puffy skin, mainly in the face. It almost seems that as my level of serotonin goes up, I get more bloated. It's not a freakish amount of bloating, just enough to really bother me because I work hard to be cut.
I can notice the difference in puffiness within a few of hours of taking the meds, and it stays that way until the meds are out of my system.
Has anyone ever heard of something like this? Or had personal experience? I've tried diuretics (reduced bloating slightly for about 4 hours) and anti-e's (letro, nolva, clomid, didn't seem to make a difference), but I just can't figure out why this is happening. Any ideas?
Someone once told me that serotonin and estrogen are somehow related, but I'm not entirely convinced that is whats going on.
Any help would be fantastic! Thanks...

I am getting that moon faced look due to a cycle and just ordered anastrozole (liquidex). Might be worth a shot if you are gonna cycle anyway.
