Three things you'd like to do before you die

Originally inspired from a scene in Fight Club, I got talking about this with a mate of mine and we came up with three things each of us would like to do before we die.

For me:

Write a book
Serve in a War
Stand on something not the earth (like the Moon, or more far fetched, Mars)

Anyone else got any burning desires, no matter how unrealistic?

fly solo (whether with a jet pack, or a magical pill that can actually reduces the affect of gravity, something like that)

kill someone (doesnt matter if its in anger, self defense or even for just pleasure)

become a father, and be a good father at that

this one's kinda hard since i'm still young but here goes

1) find a way to cure AIDS/cancer/all fatal diseases

2) figure out the enzymes responsible for the splitting of water in plants, this one might need explaining, if we are able to do this all other methods of energy production(combustion, fossil fuels etc) are null and void, as water splitting would create an almost infinite clean energy source, this in turn would help eliminate world hunger

3) be able to live up to my life goal "leave everyone you meet a better person for having known you", this one's kinda selfish, but oh well
