Cable Company Sucks!

Sorry I need to vent about the hour of life I just wasted on Comcast
My bill has went up to around $80 a month just for basic cable, I think it's too much so I decided to call....I'm going to make these short so you dont get bored

OK here we go.....

Telesales Call #1

He told me that he could bring my bill down by about $20/month by giving me the promotional price of $33/month plus the $14.99 charge for my "digital cable preferred box" and he can get me that price for one YEAR
Then he tells me that he can send me to another department that can actually get me a better deal than he can....so i get transferred.

Telesales Call #2

This Fvcktard who's name is Mildred can barely keep a conversation going because she keeps saying please hold a second, and then the BIG DEAL that she finds for me is $55/month plus the $14.99 charge for the "digital cable box" and she can give me that price for 6 whole months! By this time I have realized that I have been sent to hell through the phone and tell the woman that she doesn't know what she's doing and I ask her to send me back where I came from

This amazing piece of work answers the phone with an attitude like I'm ruining her dinner or something. I tell her what I have just been through and told her that I want the initial deal I was offered for $33/month and they can Have their damn digital box back, I don't want it(it just gives me a TV guide). She says well she can only give me the $33/month deal for 3 MONTHS. So I reply with....look I don't know what is going on over there but howcome you can't figure out how to push the same goddamn button the idiot number 1 could push?


She puts me on hold and then somehow works a MIRACLE and can figure out how to get me what I wanted...

Sorry guys I just had to get that out!

If you want i'll pm you a forum thatis dedicated to this and you can learn.
Not hard at all. The only downside is maybe once a month to three times a month you have to install the new bin file for code decryption.
But it only take 2 minutes and anyone with intermediate knowledge of computer use can do it.

I have paid for Comcast bundle and the Directv bundle with local Qwest and the directv imo, is cheaper and better. The DSL service is just as fast as comcast, but Directv is way better than comcast. Unfortunately the customer service with both is piss poor.

hummm, havent messed with that for awhile.. buddy use to do it before they changed the cards.. use to send bullets through every once in awhile and would have to reprogram.. then they started hitting it all the time.. then the cards changed.. hell this was yeears ago..
one of my boys ordered a programmer or whatever.. the shit you put the card in and hook to the puter.. anyways he got nailed, guess the site was being monitered and they were going after him hard for a bit.. talking 20g and shit.. finally went away..

People work those kinds of jobs for a reason hun. Myself personally, I went with AT&T. Home landline, Fast as f*ck internet, and awesome tv (I can record 3 programs at the same time) for 89.99 a month.
