need help with spyware protection

hey folks I just installed this virus protection program from a vendor called Paretogic, anyone ever heard of them or how good their tools are?

Anway....the program found 377,333 items and 2,081 new objects on my pc, however when I clicked the remove button not all of the threat items and objects were removed, only 2,081 were removed from my pc. My concern is what is the idea with these socalled virus protection program, do I have to play "scan and remove" untill all the threats are virtually all remove? so far I run to scans and reamove about 5,000 threats.

And another question since Iam a subscriber with this vendor, Iam a little worried and unsure whether they will keep charging my card every time I scan and remove daring viruses from pc? is this how this stuff works?

Yeah its not that great of a program

here are some free online scanners that will take care of your problem

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

run these in safe mode and it should take care of any issues.
