You can do it too noob
I wanted to put this in the Q/A as the same question gets asked 1000000000000 times. How long do you workout and people always post hours. Well today i had a dentist appt. so i was forced to make it quick - chest /bi. Within 55 mins i managed to get in all my working sets while still progressing (weight wise/rep) on every movement except one where i maintained the same weight/rep count.
You can do it !
I was done so quick i now have time to whore the boards before my appt.

It takes me 1hour 15mins, then im out. Unless there hot women in there, then i could be all day..

Surely the time is dependent on whether you are bulking or cutting. Generally my bulking workouts are approx twice as long due to increased time to recover from heavy power lifting.

I personally have found HIT to be far more effective than volume training. My workouts now take 45 minutes, are so intense, instead of 1hr 15 mins of less intensity. I highly encourage those who have been volume training to give HIT a solid attempt. It's working for me BIG TIME and I'll never look back.

I never lift more than an hour anymore. 45 minutes is usually my max.

I try to always keep lifting under one hour, usually around 45 minutes.

I "workout" twice a day, in Beginners' terms. But, I don't really consider cardio a workout:
I do cardio 30-60min every morning, followed by 20 pull-ups, 20 ring-dips, and 50 mountaineers; before breakfast.
I make it a mission to complete my weight training in under an hour. It adds to the intensity, and I don't have hardly any power left after 45 mins of heavy lifting anyway.

Ring dips? Where do you do those?

I put some bolts and 2x4s into my ceiling and hung a pair of rings(about 5 ft off the floor) and a bar(about 8ft off the floor). It's right next to my treadmill..
I love my cardio setup, so I'm going to blab about it.
So, I just roll out of bed, and get on the treadmill with my nintendo. After 30-60 mins (depends on the day, how god I am on the nintendo, and how tired I am), I move 3 ft to the right and grab the rings, hoist myself up, and pump out 20 dips. Just to be sure I'm awake, I start the mountaineer jumps (which can be described as deep-jumping lunges in-place). I finish off with the pull-ups because it gives me a nice stretch on my spine and shoulders. Then I shower and have my breakfast.

I put the treadmill up facing the wall with a small lcd tv, and the Nintendo's connected, sitting on a small shelf, so the controller can rest easily in my hands with my wrists resting on the heart rate monitor bar. Lately I'm hooked on Ogre Battle or Killer Instinct Gold. I can hook up any system, but Nintendo seems to work best for cardio- I don't know, maybe it's the simplistic bright color schemes, or the fact that the games are pretty straight forward, without alot of distracting details?

I normally only lift for about an hour.
to be honest, I feel bad it's so brief some times. I eat all day, 4500 calories and I'm almost painfully full all day.
Then i work out for 45 minutes 6 days a week. Just don't seem right! lol
Like DSM though, my strength has really gone up. I've put on some bf, but I don't care. 28lbs in. I've been putting on 1-3 pounds a week.

40-45 minutes max, unless I am doing legs then it's 60 but only because it takes me 20 minutes to warm my knees up.
