I weigh 235 and can bench 315 for 6
post em
I haven't started and maxed with my flat bench since the end of the summer in 07. Was 190 pushing 315 for 6.
Been doing mostly incline bar and incline dumbbells
You dont need to post your 1 rep max, just the highest weight youve been using for any amount of reps...
Weigh 208lbs...train with 275 for 15 reps..max maybe 325 for 8
I am a weakling when it comes to bench ....... long thin arms doesn't help! Weigh 200 lbs and bench 220 lbs for 6 .... no spotter so I don't like to go too high!!
Haven't maxed in about 2 years. Last time though I weighted 270lbs and benched 490. (competition style: butt on bench, touch the chest, 1-2 second pause at the bottom, back up to full extention. And no bench shirt.)
Ive lifted more, but i don't count it as my real max if there is any cheating in form or help from wraps or shirts involved. 490 is my best with perfect form.
Haven't used the barbell in about 6 months now. I can put up the 120 lb dumbbells for 8 reps on my 4th set. And I weigh 179-182.5 lbs on any given day.
weight 220 bench 320 for 6 no spotter and after what happened to freak I am afraid to go higher.
weigh 193 can get 365 for 2
194 and go 255 for 5.
Which sounds like baby weights next to what you guys are doing.
weigh 227 lbs, 375 lbs x 20 reps.
wheni was at 175 my bast was 405 for 4. That is when i hurt my self.
Now im a little less 165 and i can work 300 to 315 for sets or 8 and 6. If i drop my reps per set i can still push 345-350.
I dont see the need to go so heavy any more. Im happy with 315 and just repring them out with nice control and form.
i think i'm the smallest guy on this site: well, all i know (or brave enough to say) is i can bench more than my body weight but less than 1.5 times that. workin on it
203lbs
2 million tons for 5 reps on good days.
225 for 10 on most though.
I lift for size, not strength
I weigh about 240, I can hit 250 for 8. Nothing great

That dude is hilarious looking.
Since I'm getting older, I dont' go heavy but best is @192lbs 405lbs, current is 186.5lbs reps 315 for about 6-8 reps, Incline dumbells are 120lbs for 10 reps. But from my experience when I max I have torn my left pec on 3 ocassions now. So I don't go Heavy anymore, and stick with reps no less than 6.
Peace
183 lb bodyweight benching 355 for 2 reps at my peak.
im 175 all natty pushing up 225 for 8
6'1'' 215-220.
225x21
Not great for my size, I blame it on my long arms.....LOL
^^^^^ I agree. Maxing works the Ego But i do love it!!!!
No idea. Flat barbell benching started killing my shoulders a couple years ago so I've been sticking to dumbbells and I typically only use up to the 100lbs. I still do decline barbell though.
best on my last cycle was my weight at 232lbs and pressed 430 pretty clean maybe could of went a tad bit higher.
now i weigh about 235ish and repping out 365 for 6 pretty smooth.
unlike others, I can't wait for next cycle.....hope to destroy 430 and keep moving up....![]()
Shit i gain 5 pounds and its a huge diff. Its like you taller guys gaining 20 pounds.
I love the fact can out bench squat or press the taller guys. hahah
