i have a knack for sharping blades. it doesn't matter what kind, knives, axes, lawn mower blades, i can make them passed razor sharp. but really, when i work a blade that fine ,it only cuts once, then the edge turns. i can take a facial hair and cut it length ways with my k-bar. theres no money in it , it takes hours of hand work to bring a blade out that thin, files....stones....steels.....ceramic...then oiled leather strap, in that order, no electric nothing or jigs, all by feel.

I'd like to give you my draw knife and have a go at it. I tried to sharpen it this weekend because I'm making a bow out of Osage Orange (tough-ass wood) and I think I ruined the damn thing...
