What music do you listen to while you work out?
This is really for my metal heads out there... I like rap alot, but i cant see how you guys listen to it while your workin out...
Bands in my ipod right now -
Numic
Twelvestep
Etched in red
Fear Factory
Drist
In Flames
Killswitch engage
Mudvayne
3AM Project
Slipknot
Current songs that get me in that "Kill everything with a heartbeat" mode
Mudvayne - dig.determined.not falling
KillSwitch Engage - A Bid Farewell,My Curse
Fear Factory - Byte Block
Twelvestep - C.O.D.
Numic - Wake Up (aka Wake the F*ck Up)
3am Project - Help Yourself
Slipknot - Wait and Bleed,Sic,Eyeless etc etc etc
These are all generalized in the Metal genre and then branches off into death metal,scream-o, etc etc. really good stuff.
So what do you guys got going on in your ipod? Im looking for some more motivational metal.

usually when i'm workin out my buddys got his ipod...he's got mostly classic rock on it and that don't really work while working out...he's also got some trance on there though and that shit gets me going...just the beats and shit help pump me up...but if i had a choice it would be Caliban, Bullet For my Valentine, Korn(the old stuff), Pantera, Disturbed, All Shall Parish, As I Lay Dying, Atreyu, Chimaira, Hatebreed, etc.

Im anti 3days grace... i really cant stand them...
bush-3days grace-RATM-STP not metal... Im in it just for the metal... lyrics just have to make slight sense for me to enjoy it.
Cruisin around in the whip I jam out to bands like bush and such but in the gym its strictly kill everything with your bare hands type music. As for bands like lamb of god... i just cant understand a word they say.

Oh. I listen to certain songs from all different groups. There usually is only one good song per CD. My ipod got like 400 or 500 songs on it. Its all rock and metal. Metallica is never played out to me and HedPe song Raise Hell is awesome to work out with.

any kind of rap that yells about how you're the shit and there's nothing you can't do and how everyone else is a *****. that's a pretty good motivator.

Ok this is going to sound weird... but I listen to this song called byteblock by fear factory during cardio... its only 5 minutes but what I do is day dream about some horrific shit. Like kinda make my own music video of me going into my moms house back in ny one night and find the door busted in... and i walk in all slow and go down stairs and see her being raped by this dude and right when the beat drops i tear him apart and blood is everywhere and all this demonic shit and then i notice someone else is outside and i chase him down in just pound him into the ground. I really get lost in this little vision while listening to this song - and my heart rate will jump up 15 bpm at least. It sounds crazy but it works.
