When do you usually begin to "cut"

Obviously this doesnt apply to those who compete or do a very lean bulk all year long. For the people like me who do a bulk in the winter and cut before summer, when do you usually turn it up with the strict dieting and cardio? I'm thinking late february would be good I have about 15lbs of fat I want to lose by mid-mayish.

I tend to cut almost right after a bulker...I stay in shape year round so its justa matter of a few lbs here and there...I just trimmed down a good 12lbs after bulking uo to 222lbs, I was just uncomfortable at that weight...so I kept a solid 8lbs of muscle.

That tottally depends on ur BF% and how lean you want to get and how much work are you willing to put in it.

What you can accomplish in 4 weeks someone else might need 6-8 weeks.
But generally speaking if you were around the 15% BF area and want to got down to 10% I'd say about 8-10 weeks.

You'd be surprised how many people don't wanna get "too big" (as RIDICULOUS and STUPID as that may sound).

I know a lot of guys who are happy with being muscular and really lean (but not huge) and it's what separates the big boys from "the rest"

Its not they don't want to bro. Its they CAN'T.
Its a long painful and expensive process.

versus to stay lean you can save money, and do cardio while talkin' to chicks all day on treadmills
