marius pudzianowski - Unbelievable really.
To be as strong as he is, and maintain this type of conditioning, is absolutely amazing IMO.
The most respected athlete in the world for me. Without a doubt.

yeah he is a stud, to put it mildly...

He really makes all the other strongmen look like fat slobs when his shirt is off. How he maintains that kind of body when competing at the level he does is amazing

For conditioning (solely bodyfat levels/abs, not definition and cuts), he could pretty much match some top Olympia competitors.
His abs have a very close resemblance to Ahmed Haidar (spelling?).

I met him at the Arnold expo in 2006. He was just walking the crowd. When I asked him if I could take a pic, he kinda got this pissed off look. Im thinking it wasn't the first time someone asked for a pic and maybe he was losing his patience. But he still shook my hand and I got my pic. He looked just as much a pro bodybuilder as the pros at the expo.

Any of those Strongmen could compete with todays bodybuilders. They would just have to diet down a little and they would be forces!
Did anyone catch the marathon on ESPN yesterday? They had that Kevin Nee (sp?) in the quarterfinals and he looked massive compared to last years. I remember when he was on some MTV special about this stuff when he was only 18.

Hear what you're saying bud, but that's why the subject box doesn't state any of their names. Marius is/has dieted down, and not only well under 10%, but maintains throughout the whole year. The rest don't really come close. The strongmen stay bulked because that is when they at their strongest.
The majority could diet down, yes. But would they be as strong?
Where as, if he were to "bulk up" like the rest, there would really only be one strongman talked about.
Having said that, he is an athlete who likely has made a massive fortune from his sport. That can only mean one thing - The best drugs/hormones at ridiculous dosages.Last edited by Maverick_J8; 12-30-2008 at 12:01 AM.

All those guys could diet down and do cardio, there is this persistent myth that if you do cardio you will lose strength and muscle mass. Which is certain try if you go to crazy on diet and do way to much cardio. If you have 300 lbs of muscle you should really be able to burn fat like a powder keg. I dont know were it came from but its here to stay. I just shake my head at methodology with no scientific scrutiny.
