LOL we already talked about my drumming history before. But Rock Band is a little different to get used to.
And I was playing Bass on guitar hero tonight too, my neighbors have both...it was the first time I had ever played either of them
-
hahaha, I know, your an amazing drummer. gh's drums are way better than rb's though. I cant stand rock band really. Feels too funky, I have to play left handed.
oh yeah, you need to get a 360 girl

Got sick Stayed home, but I called my drunk friends and that was entertaining enough.

last night my house was a bar.
drunk people in and out, idiots running outside at midnight cheering for the ball.
i can understand people who stay home alone if they have no choice (no choice as in no friends)
but i cant understand people who choose not to be festive because they are boring losers and actually prefer to go to bed at 10pm on New Years Eve.

Stayed in and watched Batman Forever. I'm not a big fan of movies but this one was alright. I'm on a no drinking stretch right now. Liqour and I don't get along, liquor and tren , free ticket to prison. I had a great time enjoying my pain relief medication, rest, and watching the flick. Home's not a bad place to be.

I don't think avoiding amateur night aka "I never drink but tonight I'm gonna get shitfaced and act like a retard and start fights and puke all over" where every bar is packed full of shitheads makes you a "boring loser".
I think being able to avoid getting stupid drunk just because the rest of the world is out doing it shows strength of character if anything.
New years can suck a dick.

I think your right wolfcraft. Especially now that I'm in my late twenties, I'm really over all the ameture night crap. I really like your comment about not getting stupid drunk just because everyone else is. I know that if I go out anynight, not just new years and stay up doing all the things you're not supposed to do, I'm gonna feel off for three days. I value my time when I can chill with friends, solo, or with family. I don't value any of the time I've spent getting XXXKED up with the night crowd. I would rather be known for strength in character rather than how many intoxicants I can pound into my body.

My family went to a wharehouse party in the middle of a cattle ranch and it rocked the kazbah. Family fun and kareoke, and lots of drinking. I have three kids and they totally enjoyed it. There were about 150 people. Burn ban sucked though! Glad everyone is safe!

All depends on context.
I never went to the bar. What I'm saying is believe it or not more people actually stay home and do nothing then go to the bar. Its a battle motivating people to have some festive traditionaly energy these days.
I understand your distaste in getting drunk and sloppy, but I can't understand how people just don't like celebrating. I mean seriously, you get up, go to work, work out, live on a routine almost everyday. Any reason to break from the normal swing of things is good imo. Otherwise you just become a robot. If you know what I mean.

I do know what you mean. I'm all for celebrating. It was just the boring loser part that got me fired up.
I see nothing wrong with going out, or having a party with your friends, but new years just isn't something I personally get very into.
But I know what you're saying. It's nice to break your everyday routine and have a reason to enjoy some time with your friends. Birthdays are always a huge deal with my group of friends and we gather a huge group and go out and stir up some trouble.
