bro's help me out with posing music

I am going to compete 10 weeks from now. I don't have a clue what song/music I should use for my routine. Doesn't matter what kind of genre it is for now. I just want to check my options for now.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

^^^Shit you might be right about it being too fast.
I was just thinking of that main opening riff.
That would be killer for posing.

sad but true - metallica - if u time the intro right it would be a sick start... then hard and driving with pauses for emphasis and transitions....anyway thats my suggestion....
(ive posed to that song in my head for years and years...never have on stage - never competed)

why would any song be too fast? just divide it up if you need to.....hit poses on the most accentuated notes. I want to use demon speeding for at least part of my song next year, by rob zombie of course

I always use something that is recent, popular and heard on the radio so that the crowd has some kind of connection. Slow or classical will put the crowd to sleep and heavy metal often has the audience covering their ears.

oh, well and if you dont mind something very gay.
    Go for Purple Rain.
The girl i know who dance or do some rythmics use it for their coreographies.
I dunno how it would look on a guy. I guess good if you go for smooth trasitions.
