x2. This may sound stupid, but before I leave my home to go to the gym, I spent a couple of minutes visualising my workout, what weights, exercises, and reps I am GOING to do, and feeling the accomplishment of beating my last workout (I keep a logbook).
Then when I'm in the gym, there's no guess work...I just play out what I visualised, and to be honest, it hasn't let me down. My intensity is through the roof, and I don't stop until I've smashed last week's workout. Now I understand why they say the mind is very powerful.
