    Ingrown finger nail

    Ok so about three months ago 3 45 pound plates fell on my finger... Guess what?? My finger lost lol.... It broke it in three places and damaged the nerve, had to have surgery and stitched it back up etc.. I'll tell you I've broke a leg, arm, ribs, and this was by far the most painfull!!

    So anyways now the new nail is starting to grow in on the one side, does anyone have suggestions to prevent it from getting worse?

    When you cut them make sure you round it off and dont square it off.

    nope.. it's a toss up for ya now too.. i have the same thing, the nail bed is damaged.. the nail now grows straight up from my to.. yep.. at a 90 degree.. wife hates it..

    Go see a doctor and ask for help there. It could be a problem for you if you don't treat it now.

    Mine had to be surgically cut out. One was a breeze, the other was the worst pain I've ever experienced.
    If they offer pain pills, take 'em, just in case.

    Ah, crap. Got a damaged nail bed too. Always had hopes the dang thing would eventually produce a "normal" nail.
