Throw out the names of some movies you like.....

I'm gonna pour myself a drink or five and finish the last 30 minutes of Shawshank Redemption (I never saw it, sad huh?).... What should I download in the meantime? I can't really think of anything good.

    thats a good movie.

if you've never seen it, i'd say Training Day. its one of my favorite movies, its actually sitting on top of my comp right next to me. theres always scarface, a timeless classic.

what genre are you looking for?

I dunno, I loved Training Day, seen it lots of times. I watched Pineapple Express and most of Shawshank last night.... I'm open to all genres, but don't really care for horror.

yeah most "horror" movies are just stupid. although 1408 was decent, it was a weird fcking movie. good you like training day, that movie is amazing.
what did you think of pineapple express? i've heard mixed opinions on it and have to decide if its worth the dl or not.

american gangster was good (gotta love a little denzel) remember the titans, friday night lights, the bourne movies, oceans movies are good, the godfather, fight club (i'm sure you've seen that)

lol funny enough I have seen ALL of those movies you just mentioned. I don't watch lots of movies, I just stick to quality ones. Requiem was trippy, and The Professional was one of my all time favorites.

that never hurts. he is funny, so i'm guessing you've seen superbad?

i can't think of many other good movies right now, but i've seen a good amount.. my dad has a couple hundred on dvd so that helps..

i looked through the tv guide and saw smokin aces, which was decent, spiderman, probably seen it.

Smokin Aces disappointed me, decent though. Superbad was awesome. I recently saw Slumdog Millionaire, Gran Torino, Yes Man, and Valkyrie. All of them were surprisingly good, and I'm pretty critical of movies. Oh and I saw the day the earth stood still with my pops when I was visiting for the holidays. It was cool on IMax, but the movie sucked.

yeah, agree with day the earth stood still. the only redeeming thing was it got into imax. i think the watchmen looks really good and thats in imax too.

smokin aces, i didn't expect much, so the action was decent. one of my friends saw slumdog millionaire and said it was great, gran torino looks interesting, yes man looked decent, and valkyrie looked pretty good. i haven't gotten the chance to see any of them though

when you download these, do you use torrents? if not, what site, and hows the quality? i don't know how you get a 30 minute dl... thats crazy fast.

It depends, but usually the connection is good. Maybe I'm close to the box or sumthin. I download torrents and use watch-movies.net......

    1. Gran Torino
    2. Slumdog Millionaire
    3. Yes Man
    4. Valkyrie (its still Tom Cruise, though it was decent.

Clint Eastwood is bad ass in Gran Torino, and Slumdog Millionaire was plain sick. Reminds me a little of City of God, maybe the best movie Ive ever seen.

well afaik its not a box, its peer to peer, so most of the time, people either limit the dl speed or something is inefficient, because it can take me hours to days to torrent a movie.

i'll check out that site though. probably dl a few movies over the next few days. i gotta fill up my new hard drive lol

    rofl kale.

yeah i see that site is streaming, but right now i'm using my apartments internet which is awful, so until my big ethernet cable gets here and i can connect to our rooms router, the internet is too slow to stream more than a few seconds before it has to buffer it again

Yeh City of God is great, have you seen The Counte of Monte Cristo?
Thats one that slips by a lot of people and is one of my favorites. Revenge, lust, murder, freedom, maturity from boy to man, really good movie that a lot of people don't mention.

Yeh I still get confused whether I like that movie or Braveheart as my favorite.
But I usually assume most people have seen AHX, if not def recommend.
