The mom was calling everyone after I left I guess bragging.

I don't mean to stroke my own goat, but I'm a decent looking guy, in good shape, i'm 28 have a lot going for me. Own a company, investment properties, i'm easy as hell to talk too so Moms especially always are "rah rah".

Dads like me because I can fix things, and I'm not a twerp, i don't hit them up for money or treat them like I'm scared of them either.

This brother in law is a cop though. I don't hate cops, but she said he ran a background check on me, that he's super critical of guys with her because he's like her "big bro".

I saw pictures of him, he's a fat kid, with glasses. We are suppose to go to dinner with her sister and him some time soon.

I'm just annoyed, and irritated that some fat nerd thinks he is going to sit across from me, and try to pick me apart.

I see him as the kid that became a cop, because he was not man enough to stick up for himself growing up. Just the conclusion i come up with when I hear about him and see his picture. The fat kid that wanted power, so he joined the academy and is content pulling over drunks in the freezing cold, getting spit on by criminals and maybe even shot at for 30k a year.

Hopefully it's at least a few weeks before I have to meet this treat.

I've been avoiding having meaningless sex, or one night stands, or hooking up with ex's just for sex because I would mess up my chances of being able to find a good girl.

I've had to just quit doing it, and quit letting them come over. So I just ignore them or tell them, we can't do this. Girls tend to want what they cannot have, and when you want to move on, they can make it difficult. That makes it hard for guys, especially if they are attractive girls willing to do anything in that moment. I call them scorpion women because they look at you and try to seduce you, but they have a stinger lingering over your head, heading strait to your back. I just delete them from my phone now, and erase their messages,I can't contact them and I block their number.

The new girl here, is not a scorpion woman though. She is a cool chick, if she drinks, she drives so only has 1 or 2 drinks. She's a professional that works for the state. giong to school to get her masters, can take care of herself and won't have to depend on me for support.

Theres 2 obvious ways you can take this, passive or aggressive.

I'm not an aggressive person (more confrontational but people take it the wrong way).
I use to be good at swallowing peoples shit untill one day I realized I actually had less drama in my life by getting in peoples faces (it clears things up quicker).
So I use the 'sugar coat principle' and basically say w/e is on my mind.
The SECOND the guy gets out of line with you, (don't wait for or expect it, just be ready for IF it happens).

Tell him straight up:
"look I like your ______(forgot the relation), and I understand you are only trying to protect her, but she is not 7 years old anymore. I'm one of the most respectful and friendliest guys you will ever meet, and I absolutely demand respect in return. I understand its part of your job to be critical and size people up, but I grew out of all that nonsense a while ago because it doesn't serve my life the way it serves yours being a cop. So with all due respect, I'd appreciate it if you let your _____ worry about whether or not I am material for HER, not YOU, because ME AND YOU ARE NOT DATING, thank you"

Now Optional:
