    anybody here bad at small talking with people?

    i have very poor small talk conversation skills, anyways anyone else here have this problem?

    Well bro, its probably a confidence issue. Do u feel confident in yourself? If not, small talk is the least of your worries. I think we all have issues with it at times. some more than others. If it is causing u problems in ur life maybe u should consult a therapist to help u work out ur issues.

    i dunno what you mean by small talk. But to me anything that is not deep and interesting is small talk.
    Prolly im not the best at it, it bores the hell out of me to do it and specially to listen.
    I like being sucint and precise.
    btw there is no need for small talk, those are rules that float over there. Just impose your rules and your be fine. People may call you "dictator" but you'll be fine.

    I'm only 5'6" so I prefer to talk to small people so I do not have to look up at them. What do you all have against us shorter folks?

    Easy way to fix this problem -- watch Letterman or Leno or whichever talkshow host you like. You'll notice what the really good conversationalists do is get the other person to talk about themselves.
    Yep, watch how the experts do it, make a few notes, and try it out yourself. Everyone's favorite topic of conversation is themself; take advantage of it, and your smalltalk problems will be over.
